Sail Thurrock is an exciting new partnership between Thurrock Yacht Club and Grangewaters Outdoor Education Centre. Our aim is simple. We want to get Thurrock sailing! If there is a sport that defines Thurrock it has to be sailing. Everything about our history and geography shouts "maritime". We are spoilt for sheltered and open waters that are the envy of many. If you have ever dreamed of getting on the water, come and have a go. You don't need to be rich, in fact you don't even need a boat to get sailing. Join us and expand your horizons |

Get sailing in Thurrock.
Sail Thurrock is a partnership between Thurrock Yacht Club and Thurrock Council's Grangewaters outdoor education centre, and aims to introduce young people in Thurrock to sailing. WE have the support of the Royal Yachting Association.
The RYA OnBoard programme offers young people the opportunity to try out sailing through their local club or centre in a safe, structured and fun environment.
The programme enables those taking part to experience all the excitement and relaxation that being on the water offers, whilst at the same time teaching them a wide range of invaluable life skills, from problem solving to leadership and teamwork.
